A saved product summary can become outdated while a campaign continues to add clarifications. Backers can reduce confusion by attaching each important claim to its current source and date.
Separate demonstrated from planned
When taking notes, label an item as shown in current material, described as planned, or still requiring confirmation. A prototype image, a workflow demonstration, and a final delivery specification are different kinds of evidence.
Keep the source beside the note
Save the page title, link, and access date for claims that influence a backing decision. If two pages appear inconsistent, use the most recent official campaign information and ask for clarification rather than combining the most favorable parts.
Leave unknown fields visible
Do not fill a blank with a guess based on another machine or accessory. This matters for final configurations, accessory details, object ranges, material outcomes, throughput, and shipping information. An explicit “not confirmed” is more useful than false precision.
Recheck before the decision point
Return to the current campaign page before changing or finalizing a pledge. Compare the notes with newly posted official details and update the date. The checklist is a reading tool, not a substitute for the campaign terms.
