Separate receipt from acceptance
Receiving an item does not mean it is suitable for laser work. Keep the order on review until the material and coating are identified and current guidance supports the proposed process. Unknown or unsuitable items should be declined rather than tested by guesswork.
Agree on the evidence
If the item is accepted, confirm the exact artwork, orientation, and approved proof. Explain that a mockup records design intent but does not guarantee a physical outcome. Keep the intake photo and decision with the order so pre-existing variation is not confused with workshop handling.
