An order record usually captures what to make, but an exception list records what still needs attention. Add a short box for unusual capitalization, symbols, uncertain spelling, artwork supplied at low resolution, or a deadline that has not been accepted.

Resolve each exception before moving the order into a sample queue. If the buyer changes the request, date the new instruction instead of deleting the earlier note. This creates a readable decision trail without implying that every request or material is suitable.

The list can be brief; its job is to stop unanswered details from becoming production assumptions. Find more small-shop workflow prompts in /updates/.
