Before choosing an engraving workflow, ask what happens when you need to move an approved design out of the software. A saved project and a portable artwork file can serve different purposes, and a buyer benefits from seeing the distinction in a demonstration.
Bring a small representative design
Ask the demonstrator to save it, reopen it and show the available export options. Check which parts remain editable and which become a flattened image. Note whether fonts, sizes and layout survive the demonstrated round trip rather than assuming that the presence of an export button settles the question.
Record the software context
Write down the version and file types used in the demonstration. If a feature was described but not shown, keep it in a separate list of unanswered questions. Include any required accounts or access conditions in that record when the provider confirms them.
Use this checklist when evaluating AntBelt G1 or another workflow without treating it as a claim about supported formats. Confirm current software details with the project. A successful file transfer also does not validate material suitability, device setup or engraving results; it answers a narrower question about retaining access to your artwork.
