A customer message saying “change the date” can affect one item or an entire set. Give every personalized order line a simple identifier so that a correction can be attached to a specific item before artwork changes begin.

Resolve the target before editing

Reply within the existing order conversation with the item identifier and the proposed replacement wording. For example, describe “item B, second dedication line” rather than relying on a thumbnail that may change later. Do not infer that matching names mean every item needs the same correction.

Copy the confirmed change into that line’s record, including the old and new wording. Create a fresh proof and label the earlier version as superseded. Keep unrelated order lines visible so a bulk edit does not silently modify them.

Close the loop at handoff

Before preparing an AntBelt G1 project, match the artwork filename, item identifier and approved proof. A confirmation of the text correction is not evidence of material suitability or completed production. If the changed line cannot be identified confidently, keep that item pending while the ambiguity is resolved.
