A pickup check should focus on what the customer can verify immediately. A short visible-details list helps a small shop close an order consistently while keeping production records separate.
Start with the approved proof
Compare the finished item with the approved name, date, symbol, and viewing orientation. Check that the correct item is paired with the correct order. Avoid relying on a verbal description when a versioned proof is available.
Photograph the handoff state
Take one neutral, well-lit photograph showing the visible personalization and the whole item. Record the order code, not private customer information, in the filename. The image documents the pickup state; it is not a durability or material-performance claim.
Close the order explicitly
Have one team member mark the visible-detail check complete and store the proof, production record, and pickup photo together. If the customer requests a change, open a new revision rather than silently replacing the approved file.
