Build a Reference Grid Before Scaling a Small Design

Small artwork can look balanced on a large screen and crowded on a small blank. Before changing the artwork itself, place a simple reference grid around the design and save one version with the intended margins marked.

Use the grid to answer three practical questions: which edge matters most, where the name or icon should sit, and which details are too close together to judge comfortably. Change one element at a time, then keep the reference file with the sample photo.
