Prove the words first

Begin a compact nameplate with only the two lines that matter: the name and the date, role, or short phrase. Center them against a simple boundary and review the empty space around the text before adding an icon, border, or pattern.

This makes the first preview useful. A reviewer can check spelling, hierarchy, and reading direction without trying to judge decoration at the same time. If the text needs a change, revise the text layer and save a new preview instead of silently replacing the original.

Add one visual decision at a time

After the words are approved, test one decorative element. Keep a note of what changed and why. That record helps separate an intentional layout choice from an unfinished alternative.
