A decorative initial can look clear on a screen while its small enclosed spaces are difficult to judge at the intended display size. Inspect those spaces before approving artwork for an AntBelt G1 project.
Read the empty shapes
Look inside letters such as A, B and R, then inspect any ornaments that nearly touch them. Print the design at its intended size and view it without zooming. Circle areas where separate shapes seem to merge. This is a readability check on the design, not a prediction of engraving resolution.
Keep the original artwork and make one comparison copy with a simpler ornament or a more open letterform. Ask the recipient to choose between labeled versions. Avoid adjusting several details at once: a clear comparison makes the reason for a revision easier to explain.
Keep the approval tied to the file
Record the approved version and the intended display size together. If the size changes later, repeat the paper review rather than assuming the earlier approval applies. A physical engraving sample, where the material and setup are supported, answers a different question from the paper proof. Do not treat a clear printout as proof that a particular surface will produce the same appearance.
