A useful project handoff should let the next person understand the file without reconstructing every decision. Put the artwork version, intended orientation, sample photo, and one sentence describing the next check into a single folder. Name the folder with a date and a short project label.
The handoff is not a substitute for reviewing the current machine setup or following safe operating instructions. It simply preserves design context and makes it easier to spot when a file, surface, or goal has changed.
Test the handoff by asking a teammate to explain the next review step in their own words. If the answer is unclear, improve the note before continuing. Browse /updates/ for more workshop-planning ideas.
