The visible engraving may be finished before the work area is ready to close. Make ventilation status, residue inspection, and a final area check part of the end-of-job record.
Follow current operating guidance
Keep operation attended and use appropriate shielding, protective eyewear, and ventilation. Do not open, move, or handle an object until the applicable guidance says it is safe. Material identity and coatings need to be understood before processing.
Record abnormalities immediately
Unusual odor, smoke behavior, residue, heat, or equipment condition should stop the workflow and be documented for review. Do not solve uncertainty by immediately repeating the job. Clean and maintain the work area according to the applicable instructions.
