An unresolved setup question should stay visible until someone has checked the applicable instructions. A note such as “probably fine” makes it too easy for uncertainty to disappear during a handover.
Record the question and the responsible reviewer
Write down the specific missing information, the source needed to resolve it, and who will review that source. Examples include an unidentified blank or an instruction that does not clearly match the equipment configuration. Keep the job marked as awaiting review while the question remains open.
Use the actual equipment documentation and applicable material guidance. A public project photo or another person's sample record is not a substitute for instructions covering your setup. Avoid copying operating choices from an image whose conditions are unknown.
Make the release decision traceable
When the question is resolved, record the source and the decision before changing the job status. If the available information does not resolve it, leave the job on hold and request clarification through the appropriate support route.
