Connected script can hide an unwanted gap or merge two letters into an unfamiliar shape. A spelling check alone may miss that change, especially when a name is unfamiliar to the person preparing the file.
Review the joins as shapes
Start with the exact exported artwork intended for the job. Look at each connection between letters, then review the whole name at its intended display size. Enlarging the design helps find a broken join; returning to the intended size helps judge whether the word still reads naturally. Neither view alone is enough.
For example, a decorative connection between two initials may look intentional in a large preview but resemble a third letter in a small proof. Mark that connection on a separate review copy and ask the recipient to confirm the intended reading before altering it.
Keep approval attached to the final file
Save the approved export with its revision identifier. If you repair a join afterward, request approval of that changed version. A digital proof checks the design, not engraving quality. For an AntBelt G1 project, a suitable test under confirmed material and setup guidance is still a separate step.
