An unresolved job question should remain visible when work changes hands. For an AntBelt G1 workflow, a simple hold note can explain why the job is paused and what must be checked before anyone resumes preparation.
Name the unresolved issue
Use a neutral job reference and a specific reason such as artwork awaiting approval or material identification incomplete. Record the person responsible for resolving it and point to the relevant job documentation. Keep the note at the control station where it can be read without entering the working area.
Do not use a paper note as a substitute for the equipment's prescribed safe-stop or isolation procedure. Follow current operating instructions for machine state, protective measures and any intervention. This article covers communication only.
Close the hold deliberately
When the question has been resolved, update the job record with the answer and its source. The responsible operator still needs to perform the checks required by the operating instructions before proceeding. An old note disappearing from the desk is not evidence that a job was reviewed. Maintain a clear record of the decision without suggesting that paperwork makes an unsuitable operation safe.
