Two samples can appear different because they were cleaned differently after the test. If cleaning is left out of the record, the final photo may be mistaken for direct evidence of the engraving step alone.
Add the cleaning method, timing, and inspection light to each sample note. Keep an untouched reference when practical, and photograph any visible residue before changing it. If a cleaning product or material combination is uncertain, consult appropriate safety information instead of improvising.
For AntBelt G1 sample planning, this makes comparisons easier to interpret without claiming a guaranteed finish. A material name by itself is not enough to predict behavior; coatings, composition, preparation, and operating choices may differ.
