A sample can look dramatically different under window light, a bench lamp, or a phone flash. Naming the light source makes the photograph more useful without turning appearance into a universal result claim.
Keep the viewing condition visible
Photograph the whole sample first, then add a closer view if fine detail needs attention. Record the light source, approximate viewing angle, material label supplied for the test, and date. Avoid color edits that obscure what the camera captured, and keep an untreated reference in the wider frame when practical.
The image documents one observation under one set of conditions. It does not guarantee how another batch, finish, camera, or setup will appear. Review material guidance and use supervised testing before drawing a broader conclusion.
