Small blanks are easy to underestimate. A tag, card, coaster, or phone accessory may look simple on the desk, but a small shift can make a test hard to compare with the next one.
Before running a new AntBelt G1 sample, makers can build a simple reference corner:
- Place a scrap card or low-risk blank on the work surface.
- Mark one fixed corner as the origin for the test.
- Confirm artwork orientation before the first run.
- Photograph the setup before moving the object.
- Save the note with the material name and design file.
This does not prove speed, durability, or final supported materials. It only makes early tests easier to read. When the same blank type starts from the same corner, a maker can separate placement mistakes from design or material questions.
For sellers, the same habit can also support better product photos and approval samples. A repeatable setup makes it easier to show a customer where the engraving will sit before taking a paid order.
