Two orders for Anna and Ana can be easy to confuse when their previews sit next to each other. A clear queue should distinguish the orders without relying on the operator remembering which customer requested which spelling.

Give each job a neutral identifier

Use an order reference alongside the approved text on the internal job card. Keep the reference out of the customer's engraving unless it is part of the approved design. Store each preview and artwork file under the same reference.

Before preparing a job, compare three things: the order reference, the full approved inscription, and the intended blank. Similar names deserve a deliberate spelling comparison rather than a quick visual glance.

Review one handoff at a time

Keep finished items associated with their own job cards during inspection and packaging. If an item loses its identity, pause that handoff until the record can be reconciled; do not guess from its place on the table.
