A note saying ready does not tell the next operator which checks were completed or what changed afterward. Treat an unfinished job as needing a fresh review when responsibility changes.
Leave a specific handover record
Record the artwork revision, identified material, current job state, and any unresolved concern. State whether processing was completed, interrupted, or never started. Do not let a paused job appear to be a finished one.
Secure the equipment according to current operating instructions before the handover. Do not leave an active laser unattended while waiting for another person to arrive. A note is an information aid, not a substitute for the required controls.
Reconfirm before continuing
The incoming operator should consult the current equipment guidance and check the actual work area, material, positioning, protective measures, and job file. If the recorded state does not match the bench, stop and resolve the mismatch rather than guessing.
For AntBelt G1 workflows, use the applicable operating and safety guidance for the configuration in use. This article does not provide a restart sequence or claim that an interrupted job can safely resume at any arbitrary point. Handover is complete only when responsibility and the unresolved items are understood.
