Restarting after an interruption is not the same as beginning with a clean setup. The object, file state, work area, ventilation, and operator attention may all have changed.
Reconfirm the changed conditions
Before considering a restart, stop and follow current manufacturer guidance. Identify why the job paused, inspect the work area, confirm the object has not shifted, and verify that required ventilation and protective measures are ready. If the cause is unknown or the setup is no longer clearly controlled, do not resume.
Document the interruption and the decision. A checklist supports attention; it does not replace training, supervision, suitable materials, local requirements, or the device's current safety instructions. Treat every restart as a new authorization point rather than an automatic continuation.
