Make the Stop Condition Part of Every Test Note

A test plan should say when to stop, not only what to try. Defining observable stop conditions before operation helps the operator respond consistently when something looks wrong.

Write conditions that can be recognized

Follow current operating guidance and identify conditions such as unexpected flame, smoke behavior, movement, odor, sound, or loss of ventilation. Keep the work attended, maintain the required shielding and protective equipment, and know how to stop operation safely.

After any stop, leave the setup paused until the cause and next action have been reviewed. A checklist supports attention but does not replace training, instructions, or judgment.
