On a cylindrical gift, the area that looks centered while it is being planned may not be the first area a recipient sees. Before preparing a cylindrical engraving project for AntBelt G1, mark the intended front-facing view on a paper wrap or a removable planning guide.

Decide what the recipient should read first

Place the main word, motif, or date in that marked view and inspect where the ends of the layout would meet. Keep a small gap between the main reading view and any secondary detail so the composition has room to breathe.
