A repeated pattern around a cylinder still needs a deliberate reading start. Mark that point on a removable paper band before arranging words or icons; it gives reviewers the same reference when they turn the object.
Make the orientation visible
Draw the likely front view, any handle or seam, and an arrow showing the direction in which a person would rotate the object. Place the first letter or primary symbol against that reference. Then check the transition where the design comes back around, including any gap that should remain quiet.
Save a photograph of the annotated band with the artwork version. If someone changes the intended front, revise the plan and seek a new approval before treating the file as ready.
