Repositioning can feel like a small interruption, which is exactly why it deserves a deliberate pause. Before touching the work area, stop the active process, confirm the system is in a safe state, and follow the current equipment instructions.
Use the pause to check that the object is stable, the work area is clear, ventilation is appropriate, and required protective measures remain in place. Operate only with suitable materials, supervision, eye protection, shielding, and the safety controls specified for the current setup. Do not bypass interlocks or leave an active laser unattended.
A written repositioning checkpoint helps shared-workshop users follow the same sequence. More workflow notes are collected at /updates/.
