Let the record explain the sample
When documenting an exploratory sample, photograph it beside a plain test card. The card can note the date, artwork version, and the one change being explored. A future review then has context instead of a folder of unlabeled close-ups.
Do not turn one sample into a broad promise
A photographed sample is a record of a specific session, not a guarantee for another material, finish, or design. Keep the note factual and use it to decide what to inspect next. Browse /updates/ for more sample-recording practices.
