A ruler, notebook or camera may be useful for documenting a sample, but reaching for it should not draw attention or loose objects into an active laser work area. Plan inspection as a separate stage.
Prepare a documentation station
Keep inspection supplies in a designated place outside the operating area and clear of controls, ventilation paths and cables. Decide where a finished object can be examined once the equipment is in the safe state specified by its instructions and handling is permitted.
If a measurement or photograph was forgotten, do not improvise access while the job is active. Follow the documented stopping and handling procedure before beginning inspection. A convenient camera angle is not a reason to bypass shielding or another protective measure.
Keep preparation subordinate to safety guidance
For AntBelt G1, follow applicable material, protective-equipment, shielding, ventilation and attended-operation guidance. This organization note does not replace the equipment instructions or determine when a particular object is safe to handle.
A useful end-of-job record can simply state where the specimen was placed and what remains to be inspected. Do not mark the inspection complete merely because the job ended.
