Decide which side carries the message
For a cylindrical sample, begin by identifying the side a person is most likely to see while holding or displaying it. A simple sketch of that visible arc can help keep a name or graphic away from an awkward wrap point.

Keep the wrap question separate
Do not try to answer every design question at once. Check reading direction, spacing near the ends of the visible area, and the orientation of the object as separate review points. Record what you observed from the sample before changing the next design.
