A workflow card should explain how to stop before it explains how to continue. Put the abort step on the front: how to halt operation, keep others clear, and leave the setup untouched for inspection.

Before any laser work, identify the material, follow current operating instructions, use appropriate eye protection and shielding, provide ventilation, keep the process attended, and avoid unknown or unsafe materials. Do not resume until the cause of the stop is understood.
