File preparation should not be the first action in a laser workflow. Begin by confirming that the controlled work area is clear, required protective measures are in place, ventilation is appropriate, and an operator will remain present.
Only after the area check should the team select the file, identify the material, and follow current operating guidance. Add a stop line for unexpected movement, smoke, odor, flame, shielding issues, or any condition the operator cannot confidently evaluate.
