A familiar name can look correct even when a letter is missing. Before preparing an AntBelt G1 project, separate the spelling check from the visual layout review so that a pleasing design does not hide a text error.
Make the text unfamiliar
Copy the approved wording into a plain text checklist. Compare the artwork one character at a time, starting with the final character and moving backward. This is a proofreading exercise; keep the actual artwork in its intended reading direction. Check spaces, punctuation and repeated letters as separate items.
Next, read the entire inscription normally. Backward checking helps isolate characters, while normal reading catches an awkward phrase or misplaced line break. Neither replaces approval from the person requesting the inscription.
Check the exported version too
Open the file intended for the job and compare it with the approved text again. If a font substitution changes a letter, hold the file for correction. Record the checked filename and approval date before moving to a material sample. A correct inscription still needs placement review and a suitable, documented material workflow.
