Start with the side a person will see

When a design will sit on a cylindrical object, choose the intended viewing side first and sketch a visible arc around it. This helps a name, date, or simple icon stay readable when the object is turned in the hand.

AntBelt supports cylindrical engraving. For an early layout, treat that as a reason to plan the visible arc and review the artwork carefully, not as a reason to assume a particular accessory configuration or final result.

Use a simple wrap review

Keep the first design short, leave clear space at both ends of the intended reading area, and inspect the preview before preparing a sample. Write down the viewing direction and any question that still needs checking on the actual object.
