A sample photographed before surface care may look different afterward. Keep those observations separate so a visual comparison does not quietly combine two different conditions.
Document the sequence
Identify the sample, material description and artwork revision before any review. Photograph it in the initial inspection state. If current material and product guidance permits a cleaning method, record the method actually used and take a second photograph under the same viewing conditions.
Do not introduce an unverified solvent or cleaning technique to improve a photograph. This article does not recommend a cleaning product or claim that a surface is safe to wipe, wash or process. If the correct method is unknown, keep that step on hold.
Compare like with like
Label images by inspection stage rather than calling one the final result without explanation. Compare initial views with initial views and documented later views with equivalent later views. A changed appearance could reflect surface care or lighting, rather than a difference in the engraving itself.
For AntBelt G1 sample notes, preserve both photographs and the record connecting them. This makes the presentation easier to interpret while leaving durability and compatibility unproven. A photograph after one documented step is not evidence that a result will survive repeated washing or everyday wear.
