Two photographs can appear inconsistent because they show different stages of handling. Record when each image was taken before using it to compare AntBelt G1 sample observations.
Name the stage in ordinary words
Use descriptions such as initial documented view or after the handling step specified in the applicable instructions. Record the actual action rather than a vague word such as finished. If nothing was done between photographs, say so.
Keep the specimen identifier, camera orientation, and lighting description with both views. If the sample was moved to another room or photographed with a different device, record that change as a possible reason for an altered appearance.
Do not invent a cleanup process
This documentation method is not a recommendation to wipe, wash, abrade, or chemically treat an engraved surface. Follow the applicable material and equipment guidance; when no approved handling method is established, leave that step open.
For a comparison board, group images from equivalent stages or label the difference prominently. A brighter photograph after handling does not by itself prove a stronger engraving, improved durability, or a repeatable result. Keep your conclusion narrow: describe what is visible, identify the stage, and retain the original files so another reviewer can check the comparison.
