A cylindrical design does not need artwork on every visible surface. AntBelt supports cylindrical engraving; a useful first design decision is whether the object should have a deliberate blank panel that gives the inscription room to read.
Plan the empty area on paper
Draw the proposed lettering and decorative elements on a paper layout. Mark the area that should stay visually quiet, then use a paper mockup to review the design from several directions. Keep that mockup away from an operating machine: it is an artwork review aid, not an engraving setup instruction.
Ask which view should show the complete inscription and which view can show only decoration. If neither view reads clearly, reduce the design before requesting a sample. Record the accepted front view with a photo of the mockup.
Separate composition from compatibility
A balanced layout does not establish whether a particular object is suitable for processing. Confirm the intended setup and object with current AntBelt guidance. This planning note does not specify rotary accessories, object dimensions, material results or processing speed. Keep those open questions separate from approval of the graphic.
