A screen preview shows the design flat, while a cylindrical object reveals only part of it at a time. Reviewing three rotation points helps expose awkward spacing before an engraving test.
Mark front, quarter-turn, and transition views
Wrap a paper version around a representative object. Mark the intended front, rotate it to a second viewing point, and then inspect the transition area. Keep names, dates, and other important details away from any planned transition when possible.
