A short demo is often watched for the final reveal. A second viewing focused on setup recovery can reveal the quieter workflow decisions that make a demonstration easier to understand.

Mark every adjustment

Pause when the operator repositions an object, returns to a reference, checks a file, or clears the work area. Note what triggered the adjustment and whether the video actually explains it. Do not infer settings or performance from an edit or time cut.

Separate observed steps from missing context

Create two columns: visible in the clip and not shown. Guarding, ventilation, focus checks, material confirmation, and preparation may occur outside the frame. Their absence from a short edit should not be read as operating guidance.

Turn the recap into questions

Use the notes to form specific questions for current official materials. A video recap is most useful when it improves the next review, not when it turns a visual impression into a promise.
