Save a Setup Snapshot Before Changing a Maker File

When a test prompts a design change, save a compact snapshot before editing the file. Record the artwork version, the visible setup, the sample label, and the question the next version is meant to answer. A phone photo and a short text note can be enough.

Change one meaningful variable at a time when practical. If the artwork, position, and sample material all change together, the next result may be harder to interpret. Keep uncertain observations labeled as observations rather than conclusions.
