The name on a payment or contact record may not be the name intended for a gift. A small shop can prevent an avoidable mix-up by giving the recipient inscription its own field before preparing a personalized engraving file.
Use two distinct fields
Label one field order contact and another exact inscription. Add a separate gift-message field if the package includes a note. Never infer the inscription from a contact signature or a delivery name. Ask for the missing wording before preparing a proof.
For a set of gifts, create one row per piece and attach the approved inscription to that row. Avoid using personal information as a public sample label. A neutral order reference is easier to photograph without exposing the customer's details.
Review before packing
Match each finished piece to the approved job record under your normal inspection procedure. Check that the packaging note belongs to the same row. Keep a record of any unresolved question instead of guessing at the intended recipient. These are order-management suggestions for an AntBelt G1 workflow, not promises about production capacity or delivery timing.
