A saved product summary becomes unreliable when its statements lose their source and date. For every pledge-related question, record the current official page or update that answers it, the date reviewed, and whether the answer is confirmed, planned, or still open.

Keep open items visible

Questions about final specifications, included items, compatibility, campaign terms, or timing should remain open until current official information addresses them. A prototype image, sample photo, or older note may document progress without answering a final-product question.

Refresh before deciding

Return to the live campaign page instead of relying on screenshots or copied summaries. When newer official information changes an answer, preserve the earlier entry as superseded and update the decision record. This makes the reasoning auditable without pretending the project cannot evolve.

The method is simple: question, source, date, status. It gives confirmed evidence its proper weight and prevents an attractive image or old description from silently becoming a promise.
