Make approval easy to read
A one-page proof card gives a small shop a cleaner way to confirm spelling, placement, and style before a personalized name order moves forward. The card is a workflow tool, not evidence of a finished or approved physical result.
Put the customer text at the top exactly as received. Beneath it, show a single mockup or layout view, the selected style name, and a short approval prompt. Avoid sending multiple near-identical options when the buyer only needs to confirm one clear choice.
Save the approved version with the job
Once a customer responds, keep their written approval with the matching proof card and file version. This creates a practical reference when preparing the work and when a repeat order arrives later.
