A finished sample photo rarely explains how the work reached that point. Build a three-part record instead: one image before the test, one note during setup, and one image after the sample has been inspected.
The before image should show the blank and its label. The during note should capture the artwork file and the operator's setup observations. The after image should use neutral light and include anything that still needs review. Keep uncertain observations marked as uncertain rather than turning them into material claims.
