The color behind a sample can change how a mark appears in a photo. Place a neutral, non-reflective backdrop behind each comparison and keep the light direction consistent. Include an untested control in the same frame when practical.

Label what the image actually shows: the specific sample, viewing conditions, and date. Do not treat photographic contrast as proof of durability, material compatibility, or repeatable production performance.
