A short preflight can catch the quiet mistakes that appear between artwork approval and loading the object. Confirm the customer text, file version, orientation, and intended face before the blank enters the work area.
Read the job back in plain language
State the name, date, or message exactly as it should appear. Then compare that reading with the exported artwork rather than only the editable file. Check that mirrored artwork is intentional and that hidden layers will not be processed.
Pause before the material test
Confirm that the test piece represents the intended material and finish. Use current operating guidance, appropriate protective measures, ventilation, and attended operation. A clean checklist does not replace a material test, but it helps ensure the test answers the right question.
