A centered design can still look wrong when the blank, artwork, or viewing direction is misunderstood. A three-point check makes the decision visible before a test begins.
Check the blank, file, and view
First, mark the usable face of the blank without assuming every edge is square. Second, inspect the exported artwork rather than relying only on the editable file. Third, place a paper preview where a viewer will actually see the finished object.
Record any intentional offset in the job note. Keep the original file unchanged, save the adjusted export separately, and test with suitable material before treating the layout as approved.
