Separate customer text from layout choices
Create a small proof with two columns: the exact customer-provided wording on one side, and the layout decisions on the other. The distinction makes spelling approval easier to separate from choices such as line breaks or icon placement.
Ask for confirmation of the text first. Then record any visual change as a new revision rather than silently changing both things at once.
Keep one approved reference
Save the approved proof with the order identifier and date. It is a record of what was accepted, not a promise about future turnaround or repeatability. More review habits are collected in /updates/.
