A prototype update is most useful when readers can separate what is visible now from what is still under review. Clear labels help backers judge evidence without filling gaps with assumptions.
Identify the evidence
State when the photo or clip was made, what unit or sample is shown, and the specific question being reviewed. Mark concept graphics as concepts and real prototype photographs as current evidence. If a detail is not visible, do not imply that the image proves it.
Keep open questions open
List unresolved items in plain language and direct readers to current official campaign information for final details. Prototype progress does not by itself establish certification, production quantity, delivery timing, or final accessory specifications.
A strong update can be modest: one real image, one focused observation, and one next review point. That structure makes later changes easier to understand and keeps the project record honest.
