Give uncertainty a place in the record
A sample can answer one question while leaving several open. After reviewing a mark, write down what the image shows, what it does not show, and what should be checked next. This keeps a preliminary observation from becoming an unsupported promise.
For example, a close photo may help assess placement or contrast in that moment, but it does not settle every future use case. Use careful notes instead of broad conclusions.
Plan the next small comparison
Choose one unanswered question for the next sample and keep the artwork reference visible. A small, documented comparison is more useful than a crowded board with no clear purpose.
