Keep the selected option beside the source
When a customer chooses a name, layout, or message, place that choice on one simple order card with the source image or approved text. This can make the next review less dependent on memory and reduce confusion between similar requests.
Include a version label and the date of approval. If a correction arrives, create a new line rather than overwriting the earlier decision.
Review the card before preparing the artwork
Read the chosen wording aloud, compare it with the card, and confirm which physical blank it belongs to. That small pause gives a shop a clearer handoff point before any production step.
