Write the Lighting Condition on Every Sample Photo

Surface contrast can look different under a desk lamp, window light, or a phone flash. Add a short lighting note to every sample photo before comparing it with a later image.

The note can be as simple as diffuse daylight, side light, or overhead bench light. Pair it with the camera position and sample label. This makes the review more useful than a dramatic image that cannot be repeated.
